Terms and Conditions

  • D2 Office Furniture & Design, Inc. (D2) accepts payment in the form of Cash, Check, Major Credit Card, ACH or Certified Bank Check.
  • Any Customer opting to make payments with a Personal or Business Checking Account will require credit approval from D2 management.
  • All D2 Sales Orders require a 50% deposit before any Purchase Orders can be submitted to D2’s partner factories.
  • C.O.D. payments are to be made in full at the time of delivery for all merchandise received.
  • Any Customer opting to make C.O.D payments with Cash or a Certified Bank Check will be required to finalize payments with the delivery driver or another authorized D2 representative before unload can begin for any delivery.
  • If utilizing an accepted Credit Card or ACH, D2 requires payment 24 hours in advance of any delivery.
  • Any partial deliveries require payment in full for all merchandise delivered. C.O.D. charges may apply if the purchaser did not elect to pay in full at the time the Sales Order was placed.
  • D2 retains the right to hold a 50% deposit against all open merchandise on approved Sales Orders. 
  • D2 will only processes Credit Card payments with an accompanying signed authorization accepting the payment amount requested and D2’s terms and conditions.
  • All payments must be made in full upon request.
  • In the event of reasonable concealed damages or minor damages to merchandise during transportation and installation, for example a damaged top, a scratch on a desk or a mar on a chair, payments in full are still expected and D2 will warranty and repair, at no additional cost to the purchaser, in a reasonable amount of time that allows for factory production and shipping time if required.

 

Warranty and Repairs

 

  • If, during delivery, your merchandise or property has been damaged, you must notify store personnel within 7 days of the date of delivery in writing along with evidentiary images of the damaged merchandise.
  • “AS-IS” items carry no warranty and the sale is final (except where prohibited by law).
  • For other products, under conditions of normal usage, we will conduct repairs on any defect in workmanship without any charge to the original purchaser for a one-year period from the date of possession of the original purchase.
  • We will not perform work or repair any product that may cause a hazard to our employees or our property.
  • Warranty coverage does not apply to products that have been heavily soiled, stained, intentionally misused, altered, improperly cleaned, infested, damaged in transit, or otherwise damaged in a way that is not the result of defect in the workmanship of the product.
  • If the product cannot be repaired to factory specifications, the product will be replaced with the same or comparable merchandise.
  • If the same product is not available, we will issue an IN-STORE CREDIT towards new merchandise.

 

Returns, Refunds & Store Credits

  • D2 does not offer refunds.
  • D2 offers a 100% store credit for any stock or standard item purchased and returned in “like new” condition.
  • D2 applies a 25% restocking fee to any Special-Order item returned for store credit.
  • Additional freight charges may be applicable if D2 is requested to pick up or remove items returned for store credit.
