First Friday in the art community have been a catching trend for years now and especially in New York City we are surrounded by art and galleries every which way we look.

How often do you visit art galleries throughout Manhattan? Any specific art galleries you prefer?

First Friday’s are extremely important in the art world, whether it be contemporary art, traditional, or digital. Depending on your preference will determine which art gallery you will attend.

Here at D2 Office Furniture and Design we are truly inspired by all genres of art, especially when designing and constructing office space. We also encourage you to attend a spectacular design and architectural related exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art.     On the first Friday of every month, admission to CMoM is free from 5-8 p.m., thanks to Target.

    Free Admission on Uniglo Fridays from 4 – 8 p.m. gives you access to see the MoMa’s impressive collections and exhibits, which normally cost $25.

    Visiting the galleries of this museum dedicated to all things film is free on Fridays from 4 – 8 p.m., but it does not include film screenings.

    From 6-8 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, visitors can experience the Neue Galerie’s collection of German and Austrian art.
